The keys are big (bigger than the Tartarus anyway) and the spread is also wide. This was disappointing, but not a deal-breaker. I had to switch to keyboard mode and bind to WASD/Arrow keys. I've tried all combinations, but the joystick will not work in analog mode. There is a switch on the bottom of the keypad (keypad/Analog) There is also a switch in the program. There are no hitches, everything goes nice, but in-game the joystick doesn't work.

Square should have alerted everyone the charge would be coming from a third party, but they did not. I looked at the amount being charged and realized the no-name company was doing the charge. So I got emails from Square telling me the Hori charge had been declined. I didn't recognize the company name or the amount so I didn't approve the charge. My credit card picked up on it as a potential fraud and alerted me. I ordered the keypad from Square months ago on preorder but when the charge went through last month it came from some no-name company that is not Square and not HORI. Which I've received, tried to use, and am in the process of trying to return, but they have not replied to my support email, and it has been several days now. This is going to be a small review of the FF14 Tactical Commander from HORI. The instructions were tiny and hard to read without a magnifying glass. EDIT : So I have now found out part of my problem is user error.
